— Write-In Candidate for Eastern Board of Education
As a Board of Education member, I will be committed to:
- Being a strong voice for Berlin Borough families
Hello, my name is Juan Mejias, and I am a write-in candidate for the Eastern Camden County Regional Board of Education, representing Berlin Borough.
I am running because I care deeply about our children, our schools, and the future of our community. I want to bring a parent’s perspective, professional leadership experience, and a commitment to listening to the Eastern Board of Education.
I hold an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Camden County College and have served as Senior Operations Manager at Chick-fil-A in Berlin for the past seven years. My professional experience has taught me the importance of leadership, accountability, teamwork, responsible decision-making, and listening to the people I serve.
I need your support on Election Day November 3, 2026, but as a write-in candidate I especially need your support on the mail in ballot that is available on September 21—Every vote counts!
I respectfully ask for your support. Please write in “Juan Mejias” for Eastern Board of Education as the Berlin Borough representative.
- Listening to parents, students, teachers, and community members
- Maintaining strong academic standards and opportunities for student success
My family chose Berlin Borough because we wanted our children to have access to the educational opportunities offered by Eastern. My oldest daughter graduated from Eastern and went on to earn a full scholarship to Rutgers Nursing School. Her success is a reflection of the academic opportunities and strong foundation our schools can provide.
My youngest daughter is currently a fourth-grade student at Berlin Community School, giving me a unique perspective as both a parent of a graduate and a parent of a current student.
- Promoting responsible leadership and accountability
- Supporting an equitable and inclusive education for every student
